Experience:

Do you have technical experience, a good work ethic, and strong problem-solving skills? We want to hear from you. The position does not require patrolling or guarding any sites. Instead, technicians will be assembling intrusion alarm systems, proximity access control, and IP network surveillance cameras.

Applicants will not be considered if they do not have 2 years related experience in these fields:

• Intrusion Alarm
• Surveillance
• A/V
• IT/Computers
• Networking
• Ethernet Cabling
• Access Control

A driver’s license and appreciation for variety are necessary. There is never a boring day with SOV. Our clients are located throughout Central/Southern California. We’ll make sure you’re home most evenings, but if we send you to distant locations for a project, such as San Luis Obispo or Coronado, we provide generous meal stipends and hotel accommodations.

Requirements:

• Job applicants should be comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Experience and dexterity with tools like power drills, screw drivers, hammers, and the like, are essential
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and boxes
• Working safely on ladders and at heights
• Valid driver’s license
• Proof of legal right to work furnished upon any offer of employment
• Be willing to travel 25% to 50% of the month
• Able to maintain consistent and punctual attendance

Pay is commensurate with experience but starts at $17-35/hour. We also offer 15 days paid time off.
